Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines and systems.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems.
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and inspections performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong automotive repair and mechanical knowledge.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment as needed.
- Familiarity with power tools and other equipment used in diesel engine repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
