In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of light, medium and heavy duty diesel trucks. Your expertise will ensure that all vehicles operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned technicians who thrive on problem-solving and hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. Your mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and passion for diesel trucks will be instrumental in keeping our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, brakes, air brakes, and HVAC systems. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and shocks & struts replacement to maximize equipment lifespan. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring issues, and electronic controls on heavy equipment like excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers. Repair or replace components on systems with precision and efficiency. Maintain detailed service records for all repairs performed; communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status and recommendations. Assist with heavy lifting tasks using appropriate tools and safety procedures to handle large parts or equipment safely. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic with dealership or industrial background. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding (including soldering), tire service, wheel alignment, HVAC systems, and suspension work. Familiarity with schematics and technical software Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment and service software relevant to diesel vehicles.
