Big Rigs Mechanics operates and maintains the equipment for Legend Transportation, one of the fastest-growing carriers in the nation, with a modern fleet of more than 900 trucks and 4,000+ trailers operating across multiple states. Big Rigs Mechanical works with legend to operate maintenance shops throughout the West Coast. We are looking for skilled and motivated Tractor & Trailer Mechanics to join our growing team and help keep our fleet running strong. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on diesel tractors and trailers. Conduct and complete DOT inspections while ensuring all equipment meets compliance and safety standards. Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts usage documentation. Communicate effectively with Class Coordinators, drivers, Dispatch Managers (DMs), and shop leadership as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures and protocols.

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving:

Diesel engines Air brake systems Transmissions Suspension systems Electrical systems Internal and external trailer repairs and More.... Preferred Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repair and maintenance. Proficiency in diesel engine diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance.

Ability to perform:

Brake repairs Alignments Shock and strut replacement Tire service and repairs Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to safely lift heavy objects and perform physical job duties as required. Previous experience in a mechanic shop or service technician role preferred.
