As a Lead Diesel Mechanic, you will help lead a team of mechanics and coordinate repair schedules. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of diesel mechanics, providing direction to ensure high-quality work standards. Diagnose complex issues using diagnostics tools, schematics, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes of equipment failures. Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy duty diesel vehicles. Service and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and electrical components. Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities regarding electrical components and the knowledge to resolve the issue. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, disassembly, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
REQUIRED
Skills
MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TOOLS.
Extensive diesel engine repair of heavy duty vehicles and mechanical knowledge. Mechanical expertise in heavy duty repair including but not limited to brakes, shocks, transmissions, electrical wiring, and HVAC systems. Work Schedule Fulltime 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM 1 hour lunch
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
