Position Summary:
Talent Source is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics for shipboard engine and generator maintenance.
Job Duties:
Perform maintenance and overhaul on diesel engines and generators. Diagnose faults in fuel, exhaust, and turbocharger systems. Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain service logs. Use diagnostic tools and software where applicable. Work on Caterpillar, Cummins, MTU, or similar marine engines.
Qualifications:
5+ years of diesel engine repair experience, OR completion of a related technical training program, certification, or coursework (equivalent experience considered). Knowledge of US Navy engineering systems preferred. Must be comfortable working aboard vessels in tight conditions.
Pay Range:
$24-$34/hour (based on experience)
