What You'll Do:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain luxury motorcoaches and fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Conduct comprehensive preventive maintenance inspections and repairs. Troubleshoot and service engines, transmissions, electrical systems, HVAC, brakes, and other critical components. Utilize cutting-edge diagnostic tools and technology to improve efficiency and precision. Work in a team-oriented environment that prioritizes safety, training, and excellence.

Supplemental Pay:

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus for qualified mechanics. $2,000 Referral Bonus

A Sign-On bonus will be paid after 90 days and again after 9 months of employment. Please note that taxes will apply to the sign-on bonus.

Position Responsibilities:

Knowledge of diesel engines, automotive gas engines, brake systems (air & hydraulic), and electrical systems, along with general knowledge of any heavy equipment repairs. Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in a safe, efficient, and well-equipped work environment Diagnostics and repairs of diesel engines, automotive gas engines, powertrains, HVAC systems, steering systems, electrical systems, cooling systems, and brake systems Conduct

DOT, BIT

inspections, DVIR compliance, and CHP compliance repairs

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience working on diesel trucks, commercial buses or gas automotive engines Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes. Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions Knowledge of heavy-duty diesel or gas automotive engines.

Helpful to have:

Technical degree in diesel or industrial technology Valid California driver's license Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.

Pay Rate:

The hourly wage range that Lux Bus America reasonably expects to pay for the position is $35.00/hr
