In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty equipment- Semi trucks. You will be mainly working with semi-trucks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and cutting-edge diagnostic tools in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical skills make a tangible impact every day. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems using schematics and electronic testing tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment Fabricate custom parts or modifications using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific operational needs. Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Replace or repair shocks & struts, tires, brakes, HVAC components, and other critical vehicle parts to maintain safety standards. Assemble new equipment or components following detailed schematics and technical manuals. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and offering maintenance advice to clients or operators. Engage in heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to all safety protocols to prevent injuries during repairs or installations. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a focus on heavy diesel engines and semi-trucks Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and farm machinery. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, HVAC units, and electrical components. Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex machinery issues. Experience with welding, fabrication (including soldering), tire service, alignment procedures, and power tool usage is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during maintenance tasks.
