In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance. Job Description (not limited to): Diagnostics - Laptop, electrical, components, emissions, failures of vehicles and disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts as necessary Inspecting and diagnosing defective equipment using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts, manufacturer software, and pressure gauges We perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment, and performing DOT and BIT inspections. Diagnosing and repairing DEF and DPR system failures Performing Hino, Cummins and other manufacturer diagnostics, warranty repairs, recalls, and campaigns by utilizing the Hino system Perform engine rebuilds and other internal component repairs Job Responsibilities Journeyman diesel technician mechanic, you will be responsible for computer troubleshooting/diagnosing, electrical diag and repairing diesel engines, after-treatment, hydraulics, transmissions. C&M Motors provides manufacturer training, such as Hino, Cummins, Thermoking - as well as funding towards ASE and diesel technology courses. Job Requirements as a Journeyman Diesel Technician, 10+ year works experience on diesel engines and diesel engine repair. Preferred dealership experienced working with OEM's. 10+ years' experience in diesel truck mechanics Must have a valid driver's license Mechanic Benefits as a Mechanic /Technician with C&M Motors, Inc. Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals for complex trouble shooting on commercial equipment. Comfortable performing heavy lifting safely while working in various environments; experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of working independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service; able to explain technical issues clearly to clients or team members.
