Heavy Duty Diesel Technician/Mechanic

Responsibilities:

Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose all problems with customers equipment. Identify and order parts necessary to complete repairs and routine maintenance. Perform complex and/or major inspections and repairs on customer's equipment. Replace parts and equipment as necessary. Perform routine maintenance on equipment according to established guidelines and schedules. Complete all work orders and time sheets in an accurate and timely manner. Assist other team members and help train lower level technicians in completing work assignments as necessary to share knowledge and build a collaborative team. Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all team members to enjoy. Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and three or more years related experience preferred. Maintains or has the ability to obtain and maintain a Class A or B driver's license. Technical certification in automotive and/or diesel engine repair preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely. Ability to verbally communicate kindly, effectively, and professionally with all team members and customers. Basic computer navigation and utilization skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred. Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures. Ability to utilize laptop computers with multiple OEM software programs.
