Diesel Mechanic

General Responsibilities & Duties:

Medium to Heavy duty mechanic wanted. Perform welding tasks. Perform tasks such as preventative maintenance and repairs using hand tools and specialized equipment. Inspect and test vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and are in proper working condition. Assemble and disassemble all equipment/vehicle components as needed for repairs or replacements. Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and working with various tools and equipment.

Skills :

Proficient in diesel engine repair techniques and vehicle maintenance practices. Proficient in air brake systems and suspension repair. Strong welding skills. Strong understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems related to heavy machinery. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. A valid driver's license is preferred for operating vehicles.

Qualifications :

Own tools are required. Will have OT opportunities. Must have 5 years experience on newer equipment.
