Primary Functions:
Diesel mechanic helps in safeguarding diesel equipment and increasing their efficiency and productivity.A diesel mechanic should:
- Perform major and minor repairs for trailers and trucks
- Do regular preventive maintenance for vehicles, such as tire rotations, inspections and oil changes
- Manage inventory of parts and spares and maintain shop cleanliness
Skills:
Skills and qualifications of all possible candidates:- Proven experience of 1+ years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Possess ASE Diesel Certification (preferred)
- Possess valid driver's license and CDL license
- Ability to lift weight up to 150 pounds, when needed
- Writing and reading skills
- Problem-solving skills Full Time Morning shift workers needed - (8:00 am - 4:00 pm) Must own a vehicle to get to and from work, when needed
