Marine Diesel Technician

Scott Marine Power of Ft. Lauderdale is an authorized dealer of MAN,Yanmar, OXE, and Scania marine diesel engines and Aventics marine controls. We are actively seeking candidates for Marine Diesel Engine Technicians.

Candidates must:

Have knowledge/schooling and experience in marine diesel engines. Provide own tools and toolbox. Hold a clean driver's license. Be willing to work out of state and country as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Knowledge of tools and equipment required to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair engines. Ability to learn new techniques and procedures relating to the position. Basic knowledge of computers and electronics. Compliance with all sales and service department procedures and practices. Maintenance of a safe, clean, and orderly work area. Completion of necessary documentation per job. Ability to work special/emergency hours as required. Commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service and quality. Strive to complete assignments within estimated time and per customer expectations.
