Job Description Job Description Construction Equipment Diesel Mechanic - (Mid-Senior Level) $30-$40+/Hour DOE Overtime Available Land O' Lakes, FL Immediate Openings We are seeking experienced Diesel Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join a growing maintenance team supporting heavy equipment and fleet operations in the Tampa / Land O' Lakes area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a well-established operation offering steady work, overtime opportunities, and the potential for permanent placement. Compensation $30-$40+/hour based on experience Most qualified candidates fall in the $32-$36/hour range Overtime available Weekly pay Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems Perform preventive maintenance and inspections Complete major repairs on heavy equipment and fleet vehicles Read and interpret schematics and service manuals Maintain a safe and organized work environment Qualifications 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience Heavy equipment, construction equipment, fleet, or ready-mix experience preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Ability to work independently Must possess your own mechanic tools Reliable transportation required Preferred Experience Concrete or ready-mix trucks Excavators, loaders, cranes, or earthmoving equipment CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, John Deere, or similar equipment Welding and fabrication experience Not a Fit For Entry-level mechanics Automotive-only technicians without diesel experience Candidates without tools Why Consider This Opportunity?
