Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Diesel Mechanic Helper to assist our maintenance team with the repair and preventive maintenance of diesel trucks, forklifts, trailers. $19 to $23 per hour to start based on experience. Dayshift 6am to 4:30pm. Great

Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Diesel Mechanic Helper and be a vital part of maintaining and repairing heavy-duty equipment, trucks, and industrial machinery. This energetic role offers the opportunity to develop your mechanical skills while supporting experienced technicians in a fast-paced environment. You'll gain hands-on experience working with a variety of machinery, including farm equipment, construction vehicles, and commercial trucks, all while contributing to safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities:
Assist mechanics with inspections, repairs, and maintenance of diesel engines and equipment. Perform basic preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Operate tools and equipment safely. Assist with parts inventory and shop organization. Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with vehicles, equipment, or machinery preferred. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Ability to lift to 100 lbs. Valid driver's license preferred. Forklift experience is a plus but not required
Shift:
6am to 4:30pm
Pay:
$19 to $23 per hour
