In this energetic role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise to ensure the optimal performance of diesel engines, industrial machinery, and heavy equipment used across various industries. Duties Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and electrical components using schematics and diagnostic tools Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, and air brake inspections to ensure machinery operates at peak performance Fabricate and modify parts or components using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair needs Conduct heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and other heavy machinery Use automotive diagnostics tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on various vehicles and equipment Assist in assembly and disassembly of equipment during repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety standards Maintain detailed service records documenting repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for accountability and future reference Experience Proven mechanic experience with a focus on heavy diesel engines and automotive repair Dealership experience or similar service technician background preferred for comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems Strong knowledge of schematics for electrical wiring diagrams and hydraulic systems Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, soldering, and use of power tools in repair tasks Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery is highly desirable Ability to perform precise diagnostics using specialized tools for engine management systems and electrical troubleshooting Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs Join us in delivering top-tier service by applying your technical expertise in a fast-paced environment where every day presents new challenges.
