We are seeking a motivated, highly skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance and entry-level mechanical repairs on commercial trucks. This position supports fleet and customer vehicle safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.Responsibilities :
Perform preventative maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer and company standards, including inspections, lubrication, fluid, and filter replacement. Inspect and perform clutch and brake adjustments and related repairs . Inspect, service, and repair 5th wheel assemblies . Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on heating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Conduct steering and suspension repairs , including replacement of related components. Assist with drive train repairs , including drive lines, U-joints, and differentials. Accurately document all work performed on repair orders and inspection reports. Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and basic diagnostic equipment in a safe manner. Perform state and federal safety inspections as trained and authorized. Assist with emissions-related inspections and maintenance where applicable. Comply with all company safety policies , DOT regulations, and applicable state and federal laws. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of diesel technician experience in diagnosing and repairing light, medium and heavy-duty trucks. Experience performing PM related services. Must have a valid driver's license: CDL Preferred. Must be able to lift 50lbs/push-pull 75lbs. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. ASE certification preferred.
