Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled bi-lingual (Spanish)Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, particularly with diesel engines. This role requires 3+ years hands-on experience and the ability to work with various types of Class 7 and 8 trucks and trailers. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles are operating at peak performance and DOT standards. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in diesel engines and related systems. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Class 7 and 8 trucks and trailers, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and align components effectively. Perform DOT and Preventive Maintenance inspections to include proper completion of associated paperwork. Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as needed for repairs or maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology. Capable of working unsupervised. Skills Proficient in HVAC systems relevant to diesel engines. Experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Familiarity with dealership processes is a plus. Excellent Computer diagnostic knowledge. Strong vehicle maintenance skills with attention to detail. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs. Competence in reading and interpreting schematics for effective troubleshooting. Computer literacy is a must. $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
