Field Service Diesel Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for performing on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment including hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical components. Primary Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and machinery on customer sites. Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure safety standards. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to perform repairs accurately. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers and management. Operate tools and diagnostic equipment efficiently and safely. Travel extensively to various job sites as required. Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced technicians when needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in diesel mechanics or hydraulics preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in field service mechanics or heavy equipment repair. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and welding. Ability to read and understand technical documentation and diagrams. Valid driver's license with a clean record; DOT certification is a strong advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and travel frequently to customer sites. Good communication and customer service skills.
