You'll be working alongside a small, tight crew with direct access to your supervisor. This isn't a factory floor — it's a real shop where your skill set shows up every day. Experience with Mack trucks is essential. Refuse body experience is a strong advantage. If you know your way around heavy diesel and want a stable home with a company that's going to be here for the long term, read on. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose and repair Mack chassis trucks and refuse bodies Complete scheduled PMs and maintain accurate service records Hydraulic system diagnosis and repair Advanced electrical troubleshooting Suspension, driveline, and brake system repair Welding and advanced mechanical repairs as needed Coordinate with your supervisor and depot team on workload and fleet status Maintain DOT-ready vehicles and accurate compliance documentation What We're Looking For 3+ years of heavy diesel experience English-speaking, reading and writing - first language or comparable standard Mack chassis experience — required Refuse or municipal fleet background — preferred Heil or comparable body experience — a plus Hydraulic and electrical diagnostic ability Solid documentation habits and attention to detail Team-oriented — you'll work closely with a small crew and direct management Why This Role Long-term, stable employment — we invest in our mechanics Competitive pay based on experience Small team, direct communication — no layers 95 years strong and have never sold out of a commercial waste operation Excellent indoor, concrete shop, with hoists Genuine focus on your safety and reduced manual handling risk Very competitive benefits for you and your family Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume.
