Job Description
Experienced Heavy Equipment & Diesel Mechanic Wanted We are seeking a reliable, experienced mechanic with strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers. The ideal candidate is dependable, arrives on time, comes prepared to work, and takes pride in maintaining equipment to the highest standards. Qualifications Experience working on diesel and gas-powered equipment Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain: Skid steers Loaders Backhoes Excavators (track hoes) Front-end loaders Dump trucks Trailers Other construction and heavy equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and efficiently Preferred Skills Experience operating heavy equipment Ability to identify and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues in the field Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Responsibilities Perform diagnostic testing and accurately identify mechanical issues Analyze diagnostic results and recommend repairs Repair and replace engines, transmissions, steering components, hydraulic systems, and braking systems Inspect and repair electrical and lighting systems Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections Test drive and operate equipment to verify performance and repairs Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment What We're Looking For A dependable, hardworking mechanic who is committed to quality workmanship, safety, and keeping equipment operating at peak performance.
