Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Class A Diesel Technician to join a growing and professional service team in the Sarasota area. This is a long-term opportunity for a highly skilled technician who takes pride in quality repairs, diagnostics, customer service, and teamwork. If you have strong diesel experience, diagnostic knowledge, and a Class A CDL, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform accurate diagnostics and quality diesel repairs in a timely manner Maintain 100% efficiency goals while minimizing comebacks Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using diagnostic software and equipment Complete repair orders with proper documentation including Complaint, Cause, and Correction Communicate repair needs clearly with Service Advisors and Parts personnel Identify upsell opportunities through full vehicle/job awareness Maintain proper handling of warranty and core return parts Mentor and assist B & C level technicians Follow OSHA, DOT, forklift, and hazmat safety procedures Maintain shop cleanliness and safe working conditions Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required ASE Certification preferred Minimum 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience Class A CDL Required Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Experience with computer diagnostic software and shop management systems Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop environment Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a shop setting What We're Looking For Technicians who take pride in doing the job right Team players with leadership mentality Strong work ethic and reliability Candidates interested in continued training and career advancement Professionals who value safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Steady full-time work Career growth opportunities Ongoing training and development Professional shop environment Apply today if you're a skilled Diesel Technician looking for a strong opportunity in the Sarasota area.
