Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Webster, FL 33597 $25

  • Full-time We are a fully operational sod farm and installation company located in Webster & Center HIll, FL.
We rely on a wide range of equipment and vehicles to keep our jobs running smoothly and are looking for a dependable mechanic to support our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain semi trucks and semi trailers,crew trucks Service and repair farm equipment, including tractors and implements Perform maintenance on skid steers and loaders (Kubota equipment experience preferred) Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical issues Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime Keep accurate maintenance and repair records Ensure all equipment is safe and job-ready
Qualifications:
Proven experience working on semi trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Experience with farm equipment and skid steers/loaders (Kubota preferred) Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus) Own tools preferred Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Overtime may be needed also depending on repairs. Weekend work will be rare unless circumstances require it. There are greater opportunities that will come along with this position that will be discussed during the interview, Person applying must be self motivated and take the initiative to make sure our fleet stays in peak performance. Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work.
