Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Diesel Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of semi trucks and trailers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, perform complex diagnostics, and deliver top-notch service to keep customers running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems. Conduct preventive maintenance on semi trucks ranging from International, Volvo, Peterbilt, Kenworth and Freightliner. Assist with assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of various engine components while adhering to safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and offering maintenance recommendations for fleet longevity. Qualifications Proven experience working as a diesel technician in a equipment repair environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel diagnostics and diesel repair procedures. Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting electrical systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and tire service tools. Ability to lift heavy components safely during maintenance tasks; physical strength required for heavy lifting. Knowledge of diesel engine repair, air brake systems, alignment procedures, HVAC systems. This role is ideal for mechanics with strong electrical experience and a background in semi and trailer repair who thrive in fast-paced environments.
