We need techs that have the desire to find work HOME! Interstate Nationalease is currently looking for an experienced "A" Diesel Mechanic to work in our Forest Park, GA location. The successful candidate will have 5+ years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic with proven experience as a Class A Diesel Mechanic . They will work closely with the INL team to meet company goals and expectations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and trailers
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel-powered equipment
  • Repair or replace faulty parts, components, or systems
  • Test and adjust engine performance using specialized tools and equipment
  • Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections ```Requirements```
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and systems
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in the industry
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients
Skills:
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems in diesel vehicles is beneficial
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills are required
  • Experience with tire service on heavy-duty vehicles is desired
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance is a plus
  • Ability to assemble and disassemble tractor-trailer components is necessary
  • Proficiency in maintaining shocks and struts on diesel vehicles is required The ideal Diesel Mechanic will have: 5+ years experience as a Diesel Mechanic Current DOT Medical Card Ability to lift to 150 pounds Excellent reading and writing skills ASE Diesel Certification a plus CDL License a Plus!
