Diesel & Automotive Technician (B-Level)Underdog Mechanical | Ringgold, GA Finally, an honest mechanic. At Underdog Mechanical, we specialize in diesel repair while also servicing a wide range of automotive vehicles. From routine maintenance to major engine repairs, our mission is simple: provide honest diagnostics, quality repairs, and customer service that earns trust for life. We're growing and looking for a solid B-Level Technician who wants to be part of a team that values integrity, professionalism, and doing the job right the first time. This position is not for someone looking to cut corners, create drama, or simply collect a paycheck. We have worked hard to build a positive culture and strong reputation in our community, and we are looking for someone who will contribute to that culture and help us continue raising the standard in the repair industry. What You'll Be Doing Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel and gasoline vehicles. Diagnose noise, vibration, drivability, and performance complaints. Perform light to moderate electrical diagnostics. Utilize scan tools and diagnostic equipment effectively. Diagnose and repair common fault code concerns. Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, engine, and drivetrain repairs. Accurately document findings and repair recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Communicate professionally with service advisors, management, and teammates. What We're Looking For 3+ years of professional repair experience preferred. Strong diagnostic mindset. Ability to complete repairs correctly and efficiently without constant supervision. Basic to intermediate electrical diagnostic skills. Experience with diesel vehicles is preferred but not required. Own tools required. Valid driver's license. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who: Shows up on time every day. Takes pride in their workmanship. Cares about quality more than shortcuts.
