High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be a Certified Mechanic, Registered Mechanic (grandfathered per Hawaii statute), Designated Mechanic, or Licensed Mechanic Vocational or technical training with applicable ASE certifications preferred

Job Description:

Conduct preventive maintenance and repair of truck and trailer equipment Diagnosis and repair of major components including engines, transmissions, and differentials Proficient use of diagnostic equipment, welding equipment, and hand/power tools Ability to perform road tests and vehicle diagnostics Basic computer skills for logging, researching, and completing repairs

Position Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years of practical experience with truck, tractor trailer, and light duty vehicle maintenance High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be a Certified Mechanic, Registered Mechanic (grandfathered per Hawaii statute), Designated Mechanic, or Licensed Mechanic Vocational or technical training with applicable ASE certifications preferred Valid driver's license required; CDL Class A or B highly preferred Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and safety compliance requirements Strong problem-solving ability Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and mentor others Team-oriented with a safety-first mindset Reliable attendance and attention to detail Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive role
