In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment, industrial equipment, and automotive systems. Your expertise will ensure that all machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and safety. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs in mechanical issues in heavy equipment, small engines, pick up trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks. Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, and wheel alignments. Perform preventative and routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Repair and maintain diesel engines, electrical systems, and other components. Fabricate parts as necessary to complete repairs or modifications. Provide tire service including installation, rotation, and balancing. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical systems, automotive diagnostics, and complex mechanical issues. Assemble new equipment or replace worn parts ensuring proper fitment and functionality. Operate heavy equipment safely during repairs or testing. Maintain detailed service records for all repairs performed and communicate effectively with team members to ensure safety standards are met. Ability to operate power tools safely for assembly or repair tasks; capable of heavy lifting when necessary. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and vehicle maintenance; familiar with air brake systems and alignment procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of engine repair and electrical systems. Ability to perform equipment repairs and maintenance tasks independently. Familiarity with heavy equipment operations is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation. Willingness to work in various conditions, including outdoor environments. Must have own tools and tool chest, heavier duty tools supplied.
