Duties & Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including steering, electrical, cooling, braking, and drivetrain, while ensuring compliance with regulations. Conduct test drives to confirm the effectiveness of repairs. Obtain required inspections and approvals for major repairs before releasing vehicles. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in adherence to safety standards. Identify and report additional maintenance or repairs needed during service. Log time, parts, and services accurately for each job. Provide on-site repairs during road calls as needed. Collaborate with the Lead Technician to address unsafe maintenance conditions or practices.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in Medium/Heavy truck repair, with strong diagnostic skills. Proficiency in electrical systems, diesel equipment, and AC repair. Ownership of recommended hand tools for the role. Valid state driver's license required CDL preferred. Training available for those who need to obtain a CDL after hire. ASE Certification preferred but not required. Company-supported training available. Strong decision-making abilities and attention to detail. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and meet DOT requirements. #HJ1
Compensation:
$28.00 to $29.88/hr based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, holiday pay, PTO accrual, and retirement savings plan.
Shifts:
Day Shift - Monday to Friday Overtime Available!
