Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment. Our pay is completely based on experience and prior knowledge , please keep this in mind while reviewing our job summary. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical expertise, experience with heavy machinery, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse equipment including farm machinery, industrial equipment, and vehicle fleets, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repairs. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Fabricate parts or components as needed using power tools and welding equipment. Operate heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers for testing and repair purposes. Repair and maintain farm machinery and industrial equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Conduct alignment procedures and HVAC system repairs on various vehicles and machinery. Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs accurately. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with team members regarding repair status. Experience Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Service Technician with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and heavy equipment repair. Dealership experience is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, hydraulics, electrical systems, and power tools. Familiarity with schematics, vehicle maintenance procedures, transmissions, air brakes, alignment techniques, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, tire service, and welding processes. Experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, Caterpillar machinery, farm machinery, industrial equipment, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy-duty vehicles is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various working conditions. This position requires a dedicated professional with a passion for maintaining complex machinery and ensuring safety standards are met at all times. Candidates should demonstrate excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members involved in repairs or maintenance tasks.
