Position:
L&H Diesel Mechanic
Description:
Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brakes. Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers, and farm machinery using hand tools, power tools, welding and schematics. Fabricate parts or components as needed for equipment repair or customization and troubleshoot electrical systems and perform soldering or wiring repairs to ensure optimal functionality. Replace shocks & struts, brake components, tires, and perform wheel alignments to maintain safety. Maintain detailed service records, complete repair logs and follow safety protocols.
MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
Diesel mechanic experience 1-3 yrs required, Must have Valid drivers license. CDL is a plus! Strong customer service skills, experience in heavy equipment, automotive diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and skills with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, hydraulic systems, lifting heavy components, transmission knowledge, HVAC, air brakes. Must be able to pass Drug screen
