Diesel and Ag Equipment Mechanic

Job Description Maverick Diesel and Equipment LLC is looking for a motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Rigby, ID. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines,AG and Construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and repairing engines, hydraulic systems,and electrical systems. Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and overhaul engines (including turbo-chargers, superchargers, etc.) Perform routine preventative maintenance on engines (oil change, check oil filter, spark plug, etc.) Diagnose and repair engine problems (e.g. misfiring valves or engine cold start) Maintain records of repairs and maintenance work (e.g. bills) Maintain a clean work area Follow all safety regulations (e.g. OSHA regulations) Skills Basic computer skills required for data entry and maintenance records Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Familiarity with EPA and DOT regulations preferred but not required Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, etc. Experience working with hand tools preferred but not required (e.g. air tools)
