As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment, trucks, and industrial machinery. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our commitment to excellence in service and operational performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced mechanics with a passion for heavy-duty vehicles and machinery to thrive in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a real impact. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and other heavy equipment components. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, air brake inspections, alignments, and HVAC system checks to maximize equipment lifespan. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and electronic controls on various machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment. Fabricate custom parts or modifications using power tools and welding techniques to meet specific repair or operational needs. Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, tractors-trailers, forklifts, and industrial equipment safely and efficiently during repairs or testing procedures. Follow safety protocols rigorously while performing repairs or lifting heavy components to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and parts inventories to ensure accurate documentation of all work performed. Experience Proven experience working as a dealership technician or in an automotive repair environment with a focus on diesel engines and heavy equipment. 3-7 years working on Isuzu Trucks preferred. Isuzu Master Certification preferred. Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, soldering, and the use of hand tools and power tools for repairs or custom modifications. Skilled in diagnosing electrical issues using automotive diagnostics tools; experience with HVAC systems on heavy equipment is a plus. Demonstrated ability to perform vehicle maintenance including brake repair, wheel alignment, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, and tire service. Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators or cranes; familiarity with industrial machinery used in farming or construction is preferred. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
