This role is responsible for diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant, and operational to minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems on box trucks and semi-tractors/trailers Perform preventive maintenance (PMs), including oil changes, filters, brakes, and fluid services Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, electrical, and hydraulic systems Inspect and repair air brake systems, suspensions, steering, and driveline components Perform DOT inspections and ensure compliance with all safety regulations Diagnose faults using diagnostic software, scan tools, and OEM systems Test drive equipment to verify repairs and performance Complete trailer repairs (doors, floors, landing gear, etc.) Respond to road calls/breakdowns as needed Maintain accurate service records and work orders Order and track parts and maintain shop inventory Follow all company safety policies and
