We believe in doing the job right the first time, taking pride in our craftsmanship, and supporting each other as a team. Our shop is more than a workplace—it's a hub of expertise, problem-solving, and teamwork where every mechanic plays a vital role in keeping freight moving. The Impact You'll Make As our Lead Semi-Truck Mechanic & Shop Coordinator , you'll be both a hands-on technician and a leader who ensures the shop runs like a well-oiled machine. Mentor and train junior mechanics, sharing technical expertise, safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques. Assist in managing shop inventory, ordering parts, and ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in top condition. Support compliance with DOT regulations, environmental guidelines, and workplace safety standards. Participate in regular team meetings to review shop performance, identify process improvements, and plan upcoming work. What You'll Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience as a diesel or semi-truck mechanic, with a proven track record of high-quality work. Strong diagnostic skills using both traditional methods and modern diagnostic software. Leadership experience in a shop environment, including delegating tasks and mentoring team members. In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, braking systems, and electrical systems. Familiarity with DOT regulations, safety protocols, and preventative maintenance best practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with mechanics, drivers, and management.
