What You'll Do Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture Modify, repair and install all types of machinery and mechanical equipment while observing all applicable CMC Safety Policies and Procedures Perform equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, equipment repairs and troubleshooting equipment problems in an accurate and efficient manner Perform repairs on Hydraulic and electrical equipment as assigned Performs other duties as assigned Train to perform industrial mechanical repairs and gain knowledge about hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Work as a part of the maintenance team Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on fleet trucks and trailers, including diesel engines, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems What You'll Need Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather Perform repairs on Hydraulic and electrical equipment as assigned Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, pay attention to detail and find root causes for issues Minimum 2 years preferably in a heavy industrial environment Must be able to communicate technically, orally and written Must be able to use a computer Possess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance process Safety oriented person with leadership skills to perform maintenance duties in a team environment and ability to work alone with little or no supervision Able to work overtime as business requires Possess specific knowledge of both diesel engines and hydraulic systems Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
