Job Description

Looking for a diesel shop that values hard work, offers steady hours, and gives you room to grow? Williams NationaLease is hiring a Diesel Technician to join our Preventative Maintenance (PM) shop in Normal, IL. If you have experience working on tractor-trailers and want to continue building your diesel career with a stable, growing company — we want to talk to you. This role focuses on preventative maintenance and light repair work that keeps our fleet safe, compliant, and road-ready every day.
Shift:
2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM $2/hour shift differential pay Optional Saturdays for overtime Pay (based on experience): $20.00-$28.00/hour
What You'll Do:
Perform preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers (oil changes, greasing, filter replacements, fluid checks, etc.) Complete inspections and identify worn or damaged parts Perform minor repairs and component replacements Follow PM schedules to maintain fleet reliability
What We're Looking For:
Experience in a preventative maintenance shop (tractor-trailer preferred) Diesel technician or PM technician experience Basic hand tools and toolbox required Valid Driver's License with good driving record Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
