In this role, you will perform comprehensive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Diesel tractors and trailers. Your expertise will ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, helping clients maximize productivity. Duties Conduct detailed diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and HVAC components using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension, coolant and air leaks, and electrical system troubleshooting. Have the ability to diagnose issues on the side of the road. Maintain detailed service records of all inspections, repairs, parts used, and diagnostics performed for each job. Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic with dealership or industrial background preferred. Skilled in using diagnostic tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various types of heavy machinery including excavators and forklifts. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL license is a plus. Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills to explain technical repairs effectively. Certification or experience in diesel diagnostics or service technician roles is a must.
