Job Description

AEI is seeking a responsible, hands-on capable technician for work in engine dyno test cells. This job is NOT assembly-line type work. Good mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to construct prototype systems is important. Initial job duties will include construction of intake, exhaust, and cooling systems for engine dynamometer test cells. This environment is fast-paced, and the desire to deal with high expectations and a wide variety of job responsibilities is required. Responsibilities and Duties hands-on technician with a good understanding of engines mechanical aptitude to work on engines and their supporting systems Able to work in a research and development environment. Able to install engine at start up and tear down upon completion of test. Technicians are also required to conduct routine maintenance of the test cell facility. Disassemble and assemble machines/components. Assist in purchasing of repair parts/supplies, and the maintenance of necessary catalogs/records. Able to communicate efficiently with customers and supervisors. Qualifications and Skills Looking for anyone that has had experience with engine experience, whether it be gas, diesel, hybrid or electric. Welding skills are a plus. This is a full time position with normal hours Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. Prior experience is helpful but not required. Certifications or degrees are helpful but not required.
