Bus / Diesel Mechanic

Company Overview :

Xtreme Transportation is hiring a skilled Mechanic to service and maintain a diverse fleet of luxury buses, sprinter vans, cars, and SUVs . This role is responsible for ensuring all vehicles are safe, reliable, and properly maintained for daily operations. The ideal candidate has experience working on both light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles and is confident in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, brake, and HVAC issues. Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, fluid checks, filters, inspections) Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, brake, suspension, and drivetrain issues Service air brake systems on buses and commercial vehicles Perform tire rotations, replacements, and inspections Repair heating and air conditioning systems Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance on commercial vehicles Respond to breakdowns/road calls when needed Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records Keep shop clean, organized, and safe Qualifications Experience as an automotive, diesel, or fleet mechanic Ability to work on multiple vehicle types (cars, vans, SUVs, buses) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with brakes, electrical, and general vehicle repair Valid driver's license

Preferred:

ASE certifications CDL (or willingness to obtain)

EPA 609 HVAC

Pay:

$25.30 - $30.47 per hour
