Job Description

Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled diesel mechanic to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently. You'll handle scheduled PM services across our transportation and yard equipment while supporting DOT-compliant repairs and helping drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair engine and drivetrain components Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform repairs Handle tire changes, brake service, and lighting repairs Carry out scheduled and corrective maintenance on trucks and trailers Keep thorough, accurate records of all service and repairs Operate forklifts and drive Class A trucks and trailers as needed Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks as required
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of hands-on diesel maintenance experience, including DOT compliance knowledge Solid understanding of and commitment to safety protocols Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Proficient in reading technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints Proven welding and fabrication abilities Self-starter who thrives in a team environment Class A CDL & other certifications are a plus
