Diesel Equipment Mechanic :
We are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Mechanic with experience repairing diesel and hydraulic powered equipment. Candidates with fabrication and welding experience are strongly preferred.
Type of Equipment :
Diesel powered drill rigs and mining machinery with hydraulic components and diesel powered vehicles
Work Environment :
This is a small shop in western KCK so it will be a fairly laid-back environment but is part of a large company that can provide tools and parts when needed. Responsibility Summary - Diesel Equipment Mechanic Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment. Weld and fabricate parts and components as needed. Modify equipment based on project specifications. Periodically travel to project sites to help setup the equipment at the start of a new project. Qualification Summary - Diesel Equipment Mechanic High school diploma or equivalency 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience Ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel and hydraulic equipment Mechanical aptitude Welding and fabrication experience preferred Ability to meet physical requirements Valid driver's license
Shift:
Daytime hours Monday-Friday, full-time position, some overtime expected #HP
