Job Description
Full-time, Benefits, Retirement Plan with Matching TAZ Trucking is a family owned and operated trucking company who is driver first and data driven. We pride ourselves on being an industry leader in safety, service, innovation, and reliability. We service our fleet as well as outside customers through our professional and well-maintained truck and trailer shop that includes parts and wash bay operations. The Ideal Candidate Proven ability to perform preventative and repair maintenance on heavy duty trucks and trailers, including engine rebuilds, top-end work, cylinder head R&R, and fuel system diagnosis. Must have verifiable experience and be able to demonstrate skills. Ability to work cooperatively in a team and with other employees across the company. Self-starter, motivated to apply abilities throughout each shift, producing personal-best quality work in a productive and ethical manner. Professional demeanor with good communication skills and a customer-first attitude. Driven to keep a clean, safe work space and work habits. Good analytical and problem solving skills; skilled with diagnostics. Reliable with an exceptional attendance record and proven ability to perform at a high productivity level without sacrificing attention to detail and quality. Willingness and ability to follow basic to complex policies, procedures, and protocols. Sound verbal and written communication skills. Good basic math abilities. Skilled in proper lifting techniques and ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Ability to work within industry systems and devices; good computer skills. Minimum 3-5 years of diesel experience preferred. Must be able to pass a hands-on skills assessment prior to hire. Position would be responsible for any other duties as assigned and duties may change based on business needs. Salary range will be based on candidate's experience and skill level.
