Job Description

Diesel Truck Mechanic Responsibilities:
Maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests Installs component and part upgrades Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems Maintain good vehicle records by annotating services and repairs Checks tire pressure and tread depth on all trucks and trailers daily Perform preventive Maintenance (PM's) on trucks and trailers including changing oil, tires, brakes, lights, filters
Update Diesel Truck Mechanic Skills/Qualifications:
Complete DOT inspection Must have own diesel mechanic tools-company does NOT provide all tools Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check Must be authorized to work in the United States Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
