We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.Duties:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Inspect and test equipment to identify any issues or potential problems
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose engine malfunctions
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of equipment
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Experience with tractor-trailers or heavy equipment operation is preferred
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Familiarity with automotive repair techniques such as brake repair and tire service
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
