Job Description

Craft and Technical Solutions is an established Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices nationwide. We partner with businesses and jobseekers to place qualified individuals efficiently. Currently, we are looking for Diesel Mechanics in Belle Chasse, LA.
Responsibilities :
Conduct basic maintenance and repairs, such as oil changes, fuel filters, etc. Conduct safety inspections on equipment. Drive a forklift, operate shop equipment, and use common mechanical tools. Maintain a safe work environment. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols. Perform other duties assigned by manager.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience as diesel mechanic or related field required. Knowledge of electrical systems associated with various types of construction equipment, such as 12VDC and 120-460 VAC systems. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Willingness to travel to local job sites and repair equipment. Must be able to pass a background check (no criminal record). Must be able to pass a drug test. Valid driver's license required with a good driving record. CDL license for hauling equipment to and from job sites is preferred. Must be able to bring your own tools to the shop.
