Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic JM Mobile Diesel Maintenance New Orleans, LA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $40 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Tools provided Qualifications Customer communication Diesel mechanics Full Job Description We provide on-site repairs and maintenance for heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Greater New Orleans are. If you're someone who takes pride in quality work, can diagnose problems independently, and enjoys working in the field, we'd love to hear from you. This will be a 1099 Contractor job
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Troubleshoot electrical, air, hydraulic, and mechanical issues Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Communicate professionally with customers Keep accurate service records
What We're Looking For:
Experience working on heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable, self-motivated, and dependable Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment Own basic mechanic tools (specialty tools provided as needed) Minimum of 2 years diesel mechanic experience
