Job Description

G&G Services Unlimited is seeking skilled Diesel Mechanics to join our team. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of specialized equipment hands-on. G&G Services Unlimited is a local oil and gas services company established in 2012 in the Haynesville Shale specializing in vacuum transport, water sales, equipment rental, and much more. We operate a large fleet of tractors, trailers, and other heavy machinery that is maintained by our onsite shop and mechanics. At G&G, we strive for continuous success and are looking to add to our ever-growing team to help us continue to deliver the trademark level of service our customers have become accustomed to.
Position Overview:
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems. Your expertise will help ensure that our fleet remains safe and efficient, minimizing downtime and maximizing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in company tractors, trailers, and equipment, as well as owner-operator tractors and trailers. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, including company tractors, trailers, and equipment, as well as owner-operator tractors and trailers. Conduct inspections and testing to ensure all tractors, trailers, and equipment brought into the shop are operating at peak performance. Document and maintain accurate records of inventory used, repairs made, and maintenance activity status. Collaborate with Shop Manager, Inventory Manager, and other shop employees to ensure timely maintenance and repair completion and equipment readiness. Adhere to company standards and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent; Vocational Training in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Equipment is preferred. Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic; Experience with oil and gas is a plus. Strong working knowledge of diesel engine systems and components. Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to self-manage and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift 75+ pounds. Valid driver's license. CDL is a plus.
Shift Details:
We are currently hiring for day and overnight shifts.
