Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional Diesel Mechanic to join our Team. Proficiency in Heavy trucks, trailers, and equipment required. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Duties:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, such as engine malfunctions, brake problems, and electrical system failures
  • Conduct thorough inspections of diesel vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose problems
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, or fuel systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of vehicles and equipment
  • Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work performed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
