$22.00 per hour; might be eligible for an increase up to $25.00 per hour after 90 days A Day in the Life Partner with senior techs to install mechanical and electrical components on new or existing buses. Use basic hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, sockets, torque tools) with care and accuracy. Follow work instructions, diagrams, and safety procedures to complete quality installations. Perform basic mechanical tasks to support production and service operations. Assist with troubleshooting and repairs under the guidance of experienced teammates. Keep your station clean, organized, and safe . Communicate progress, issues, and materials needs to supervisors. Stay flexible and help with an extended shift when daily production goals require it. Cross-train in other production stations to broaden your skills. What You Bring High School diploma or GED. Mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in working with tools. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems (preferred, not required). Capability to lift or move components up to 50 lbs. Willingness to learn, take direction, and prioritize safety and detail. Preferred Background (Not Required) Hands-on exposure from automotive, HVAC, carpentry, small engine repair , or similar fields. Vocational training or coursework in mechanics, diesel technology, or automotive technology.
