Duties & Responsibilities Maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks and fleet equipment used in air freight trucking operations. Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep vehicles safe, compliant, and road-ready. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, brake, and drivetrain issues as needed. Lead fleet maintenance priorities to reduce downtime and support on-time freight movement. Coordinate repairs, parts needs, and service timelines for trucks and related equipment. Document maintenance work, repair status, and vehicle readiness accurately.
Requirements Required:
Experience as a diesel mechanic or fleet maintenance professional. Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and related fleet equipment. Strong understanding of preventative maintenance, inspections, and safe repair practices. Ability to lead maintenance priorities in a time-sensitive freight trucking environment. Dependable, organized, and able to work independently in a fleet maintenance role. #SJ1
Compensation:
$30.00 to $35.00/hr starting pay based on experience, certifications, and training. Further details will be provided during the interview process.
Shifts:
Day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Overtime and weekend work available.
